A. Hardware Installation Guide

Items to be installed:
A. Case body
B. Top cap
C. Bottom cap
D. Screws for fixing HD x 4
E. Screws for fixing case x 4
F. Stand
2. Connect the IDE and power cable to the Hard Drive
3. Screw the Hard Drive firmly to the case ( screws D)
4. Cover with the bottom cap
5. Screw the caps firmly to the case (use screws D)
6. Connect the USB or FireWire and power cables to the case
7. Complete
B. Driver Installation Guide (FOR PC)

- No Driver required in Windows ME / Windows 2000 / Windows XP operating system.
- For Windows98
(Make sure the external device is disconnected before the installation)
1. Please insert the driver CD into CD-ROM
2-1 Windows will automatically run the installation wizard, select "HD-D2-U2FW" on the menu
2-2 The driver will be installed automatically
Or you can double click the installation file "WIN98.exe" in the following directory:
CD-ROM \ External \ DX-U2FW \ WIN98.exe
Please follow the instruction as following:

After restarting your computer, please connect the HD-D2-U2FW external case to your computer by the attached USB cable. In few seconds the new external CD-ROM drive will display in "my computer" window.

Auto detection, no driver installation is needed.
