A. Hardware Installation Guide

1. Items to be installed:

A. body case
B. hard drive
C. back cover with pc board
D. screws

2. Install the hard drive to the IDE slot on the pc board (printed side of the hard drive faces up; please refer to the picture shown below)

3.Insert the HD along with pc board into the body case

4. Screw the back cover firmly to the body case

5. Connect IEEE1394 and power cables to the enclosure

B. Driver Installation Guide

for PC : Auto detection, no driver installation is needed.

for MAC :

OS 8.6 :Please insert the driver CD and follow the directory :
CD ROM \HD-DX-FW \ ; double click the driver according to the device you have (for HD,CDROM,MO).
(please see the readme.htm for reference)

OS 9.X and above: No driver installation is needed.
